National Association of Social Workers Continuing Education: Social Work Grand Rounds at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Integration of Behavioral Health and Primary Care Description: Dr. Charles Fenzi, the Chief Executive Officer & Chief Medical Officer, and Jennifer Ferraez LCSW, the Director of Behavioral Health, from the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics will lead a discussion about integrated healthcare and its impacts on patients, clinicians, and the community. The integrated healthcare model has improved the quality and delivery of healthcare services in many clinical settings nationwide, including the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics. The mission of Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics is to provide high quality, comprehensive, affordable healthcare to all people, regardless of their ability to pay, in an environment that fosters respect, compassion and dignity. Learning Objectives: 1) Define and understand the term integrated healthcare 2) Review evidence in support of integrated healthcare delivery models 3) Understand the effects of integrated healthcare at a macro, meso, and micro level Date: Wednesday, September 21st, 2016 Time: 5:00PM - 6:00PM Location: Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, Women's Services Conference Room Cost: $10 for 1 CEU, free for anyone who does not receive CEUs.
