Pilipino-American Social Workers Association
The Pilipino-American Social Workers Association (PASWA) evolved from an informal network of social workers of Pilipino descent in the Bay Area. This group networks informally, exchanges practice experiences and ideas, and provides professional support to one another. PASWA has a critical role to play. We can better advocate and serve the needs of our Pilipino clients based on our knowledge of the Pilipino culture and values. Social Action/Social Justice Council
The Social Action/Social Justice Council focuses on bringing together social workers (NASW-CA members and non-members) from across California and linking them to local, regional, national, and international social justice campaigns.
