Come join our CEU event in honor of Mental Health Month in May: “It Is Time to Open Our Eyes - Suicide Risk" With Susan G. Igdaloff, MD, FAAP. It will be on Tuesday, 5/28/19, at 6:30 pm. Location: Henry Mayo Center: 23845 McBean Parkway, Room #E3, Valencia, CA 91355. Course objectives: Review factors and causes that contribute to increased suicide risk; Examine the importance of well-documented suicide risk assessments; Apply evidence-based methodology for suicide risk assessment; Develop appropriate interventions for suicidal clients; Evaluate warning signs, suicide prevention strategies and resources to assist at-risk clients; Identify populations with the highest incidence of suicide.
