On December 19th, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, NASW California social workers are invited to join the virtual event "Strength, Vision, and Progress: The NASW California Chapter 2024 Report". During this session, attendees will hear from the Executive Director, who will overview the chapter's recent achievements and outline a bold vision for the future. Participants will also be introduced to the Executive Board, the behind-the-scenes team, and key staff who have worked tirelessly to advance the chapter's goals, a team we can all be proud of. The presentation will highlight the critical deliverables of 2024, including membership growth, empowerment programs, signature events, and advocacy victories.

The session will provide:

• A roadmap for 2025.
• Outlining key initiatives such as increasing student participation.
• Expanding professional development opportunities.
• Offering LCSW coaching and test prep resources.

Emphasis will be placed on the importance of macro practice and NASW California's continued commitment to anti-racism, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-oppressive policies. The event will also preview upcoming events such as the LEAD program, Policy Symposium, Lobby Day, and Annual Conference, all of which are crucial for our collective progress.
